About
The PRIME Initiative
The goal of the Parent Resources in Medical Education (PRIME) initiative is to support parents navigating the challenges of medical training and help make medicine a field that is inclusive to all. We aim to foster a sense of community belonging for parents, promote advocacy on an institutional and national level, and engage in outreach through a national platform providing resources for parents in medicine. Institutional PRIME chapters are currently being piloted in medical schools across the nation.
PRIME is part of the Parent Nation campaign which aims to galvanize parents more broadly in society, help them recognize their collective identity, empower them to work together, and provide a framework to inspire critical action. Learn more.
